For as long as I can remember, I have loved to bake. Making cookies with my Grandma and Mom from a young age taught me that the moments we share in the kitchen are special. I love baking and giving out treats, seeing how it can bring joy to others. My earliest memories of baking were at around six years of age. After practicing baking at home with my Easy Bake Oven and in my Grandmother's kitchen, I told my first grade teacher that I wanted to be a chef. Many years, lots of practice and many cooking classes later, I'm now lucky enough to live my dream as a baker. After changing recipes to make them my own, I began getting requests to bake and sell my goodies. That is when Down to Earth Desserts was started. Relocating our family (and the business) from San Jose to the Santa Cruz Mountains, I am happily baking in a certified kitchen as a Cottage Food Operator. I hope to make your life just a little sweeter by sharing my creations!
Down to Earth Desserts is a licensed Cottage Food Operation located in Scotts Valley, California. We hold a permit from the Santa Cruz County Environmental Health Department.
